My daughter Kellen and I, come from generations of extraordinary farmers, hunters, and home cooks. My great uncle, John, took me on hunting trips on our property, showed me how to feed the chickens, cows, and pigs, and let me help in the garden; practically losing control of the digger learning to till the soil. My grandmother Nanny taught me the basics of cooking beginning at age 7. I learned how to select the proper meats and produce from the grocer, and most importantly, I learned to cook without recipes. Her love of having me beside her in the kitchen while she trained me to become another generation of home cooks, continued with my daughter and now with my grand twins, Kingston and Kadance. Kingston roasting a chicken with garlic, leeks, lemon and potatoes; Kadance, the gymnast, preparing vegan dishes to stay fit. They are the inspiration for “living our best life” and bringing that style of living to you.
We believe that we are here for a purpose: to serve, give and forgive abundantly in all areas of our lives. Nanny taught us to be kind, thankful, serve with a joyous heart and connect people through food. This is the foundation of what we do and how we do it.
Nanny’s house was the hub for our large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. As in most families, we gathered for the weekly, family-style meal. So, we are excited to share and celebrate our family’s passion and inspiration for cooking amazing, fresh, and distinctive dishes. You will experience the unique way that we create special meals, parties, and events. Creating Connections Through Food so that you can “Live Your Best Life!”
